They're triiplets
If I put this in the Scion forum the BRZ crowd wouldn't see it and if I put it in the BRZ forum the Scion crowd wouldn't see it. So, I post this in the off topic forum for all to see it.
We have developed the habit over the years of referring to our cars as "the twins". Since the car wears three badges I think it would be more appropriate to refer to them as the triplets. That's all. |

We call them Twins because there were two manufacturers involved, Toyota Motor Company and Fuji Heavy Industries, that resulted in two versions of the same base car. Scion is just a brand owned by ToMoCo.
The difference between the Scion solo trim and it's Toyota badged version is just badges. While the difference between the GT86 and BRZ is options, features, and stylistic changes. |

I'm calling them Snap, Crackle and Pop and there's nothing you can do to stop me.

Sometimes I just say F-R's and most understand I'm still talking about the BRZ/FRS.

They're twins. In the US we have two versions. For the rest of the world there are two versions.
If I am referencing all three models at one time, sure call em triplets. |
