Issues with Phasetek Wide angle Mirror Install

Any help appreciated. The thread that appears to have some sort of instructions in it has been lock and inactivated: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1353174

These are the rexspeed clones but with turn signal functionality.

No instructions were included...Phasetek's inbox here is full.

Mirrors snap off and on no problem. Heated mirror plug points no problem. However, included in the kit are two, two wire extensions, and 4 wire taps. But absolutely no indication of where I should be threading them to or what my source wire looks like. I'd like to get the turn signal functionality working but I'm over my head. Do I pull the door panel and go down into the door?

Does, if you buy the non wired versions. Absolutely nothing on wiring up your mirror to your turn signal, I'm beginning ot suspect it involves pulling the door panel, and running wiring all the way into the body to the harness. SO for now Mine are just heated with better view. All good.

When I click the "installation instructions" tab it has a wiring diagram with instructions.

Maybe try the the diode dynamics video on installing the led DRL side mirrors they offer. Closest thing to what you have?

@Guff- Anyway we could get that thread back open for this guy? I'm not sure why threads are closed if someone doesn't renew their sponsorship. It's not very fair for instances specifically like this.

@Roadcone, heaters work great. I'd buy from rexspeed again, since for now my turn signals are not working, and Rexspeed seems to have a bit better support. Quality is great. Heater is activated by rear defrost button. hit the button and within a couple seconds you can feel the mirror getting warm. Doesn't seem like you can screw up the wire leads for the heaters.

When I replaced mine with the Rexspeed, I figured mine had the heated mirrors but could not find the button to activate it until reading your post. Thanks!

Any idea why the indicators might not be working?

Its separate wiring. I'll snap a couple pics tonight. But they include wire taps and wire leads. but absolutely no instructions. I found a this info on their site:

installation was not straightforward for an inexperienced person. especially for the heated mirrors. the instructions(at the time i was installing) said to tap the light blue wire. tapping this made it so my car wouldn't even start. the correct wire was the large dark blue wire. otherwise these mirrors are a great value and work well. glad i purchased them!

Problem is in the mirror housing there is nothing that matches up to what this reviewer is posting. So for the moment I have the indicators un-powered.

Haha crap, I thought you were a totally different person that came in the thread saying their indicators don't work. My bad!
