My favorite part was....

"this is it"

"...nah"

Hahaha that's what I would do. Great how they show driving enthusiasm there

Right there in the video at that point: "vehicle shown with optional equipment".

It's psychological. If they hear it on a commercial, the average person is more likely to believe it and check it out; even though it is certainly somewhat disingenuous.

And the Japanese one where the father and son fight but sort of make up over the car. That one kind of hit home for me.

But this Scion ad just seems to play off one very simplistic emotion: envy. The other dude seems surprised when he sees him in the car, asks him about it and is impressed by it. Making people jealous/envious of me and/or my car is not really my goal. Especially when it's other guys.
These are proper commercials. I never thought I would love a BRZ short drama. Feature length film perhaps?! :P

The Japanese one always hits right in the feels... Asian commercials are either really strange or really emotional. Look up YouTube, Asian insurance commercial daddy is a liar.

The BRZ commercial is hands down way better then the FRS... I guess that have different target audience or markets...

Would have been a good twist ending in the first BRZ one if some dude in an FRS picked up the chick abandoned at the restaurant and they went and scooped the poor dog! Could do a whole movie on that theme and call it the "Plenty and the Lonely"

Did I miss a rainbow bumper sticker???? Just seemed like dude ordered a Uber ride and the FR-S was the car that arrived. Not gay at all... I find myself always needing to talk myself out of driving the long way home in my BRZ!
