Or in my case just don't use ethanol.
Now of course it may also be the temperature theory and have nothing to do with fuel choice. It was a cool summer here and maybe I just didn't hit the threshold other than the 3 days I had them.

Think there are enough threads on this subject for anybody with an interest to form an opinion on which of the 500,000 theories is correct.
So ..... maybe we should let it go back on topic? Sorry OP!

I'm driving a 2015 FRS with 1500 miles on the car.

Hear zero crickets between 4500 and 7500 rpm....and that's where she likes to run, little Subaru engine just sings at those prime times.

Keep her revved is your ticket to bliss.

Note: I purposely waited for the 2015 model, for the re-tuned suspension, supposedly strengthened front upper strut mounts. Also hoped many other problems from 13 and 14 models would have been resolved by now.

So far: no squeaks and rattles in interior, handles nicely, but I've not yet had it on a track. Does have crickets though in fuel pump.

Best way to describe this car overall: Smooth in all aspects, yet best driven very very hard. When it says avg mpg 21...that's when the car is really fun !

I woke up today and couldn't believe it. I looked at my FR-S.... and it wasn't an LFA.

Is toyota serious? They need to make a car with all the LFA parts, called an LF- oh wait it's called the LFA.

I buy gas with low-friction ethanol. It's a little expensive but totally worth it.
