Everyone has a right to fail. Some are just much more accomplished at it than others.

problem w 90's jdm?
the z32 @ 2:35... nut most would whisper harsh words seeing these cars out an about, let them. The thing about most car guys is they're non judgmental. if you consider yourself a car guy, go post some positive comments on a BOVAGON video. Race inspired cosmetic enhancements.
Basically anything you put on your car, not for it's actual functionality, but to make it look like a race car.

I really think rice is a state of being. If you have a 300whp KA24DET swapped 91 Honda Civic that's loud, rusty, with blacked out taillights, it's cool, right?
You won't know until the driver gets in. When he does his one wheel peel burnout at every stop light, revs outrageously and activates 2 step at publicly used gas stations, gives people in Prius' the finger as he goes by, you can make an assessment. If he drives respectfully, shows up at car meets and is humble, treats other drivers with courtesy, the car somehow loses its rice, right? Just the same as when someone in an alpine white BMW 335XI goes by you with tinted window, you're thinking "man, what a prick" when it's actually grandma with light sensitivity driving. |

Pretty much do whatever you want. Just don’t be a douche about it and don’t put anyone’s life in danger.

"Rice" is just a newer term for some car modifications, some of us used to call certain modifications to certain cars by certain people, " ________ up" a car -

I think it’s more if the job was done poorly and it looks cheap. Like a big giant wing for a DD looks absurd on some cars but pretty good on others.

That's not what I said at all. No one said you weren't allowed to have a negative opinion. I said it myself, I don't exactly agree with vertical doors on a BRZ but there's a difference between disagreeing with someone's tastes and then blatantly disrespecting someone. Quote:
I agree with you with the divided car community part. No one said that everyone is supposed to smile and nod at everything. You can disagree with someone without being a total prick about it. As I said earlier, there's a difference between expressing a dislike for something vs blatantly disrespecting someone. It's this attitude that continues to flourish that allows for it continue being divided. Last edited by av8rarky; 02-24-2020 at 09:00 PM. |
