Saw an rx7fd on my way to work today...

Wouldn't mind having one of those if not for the roto problems

If I cared about going fast I'd rather spend $20k on a decent C5 Z06 or C6 than $10k on a ratted out FD and another $10k + blood sweat and tears swapping an LS.
If I cared about owning an RX-7 it would always have Wankel power.

Eh, I wouldn't put a rotary in anything but a Mazda. For an MR-S, I'd stick with a 3SGTE or do I dare say, Honda K-series.

Anyone here use high fidelity ear plugs at concerts? I am gong to a handful this year and last time the ringing/muddled sounds didn't go away for a couple days. Don't know if they life up to the hype of being better then the foam plugs in terms of sound quality.

I've always used these for loud concerts and clubs: http://www.howardleight.com/earplugs/max

I can still hear the music clearly and they don't detract from the music or experience at all, imo. YMMV. I have extremely sensitive hearing though, so they're perfect for me.

I've tried the Eargasm (I know...) and Vibes earplugs cause I was feeling the same as you. I've found that the Eargasm (I know...) plugs are the best for keeping sound quality and being able to wear them the whole concert without your ears hurting. The Vibes hurt after about 20 mins.

I think the sound quality is miles ahead of the foam plugs, they're reusable, and they're a lot more comfortable. Last concert I went to, I took the plugs out for a while and felt like I could hear less cause it was just blasting out my eardrums.
