Definitely not my S2k. I wish I was that fast.

Sorry, was not aware this was only a Twins time thread.

Do you want to include Aussie tracks?
I had a run before the header install at Wakefield Park, completely stock with air filter & alignment only. Not even a better rubber.

22/Jun/2016, my first time on track, A/T, laptime: 1.16.51

First time at this brand new track in Virginia. Quite a challenging, technical track and really suits cars like the twins well. That said, the track could use some more exit curbing in a few places and has some really bumpy areas. If they can get these things straightened out, it will be a great track.

Unfortunately I didn't run any video during my TT session (forgot SD card) but I do have some video of me driving a couple of students around so people can get a view of the track.

NA Shannonville Motorsport Park - Fabi Circuit configuration - 1:15:90
Edit: Updated again, beat my old record, yet again.

Mods:
RR Racing Sport Performance (4pot) front BBK Winmax W5 all around
HKS Hipermax 4 GT Coilovers
17x8 +35 TC105N replicas with 225/45r17 Hankook RS3
Alignment -2.2f/-1.7r
Car is otherwise completely stock.

I know the display shows 1:15.2 but it's wrong, using frame advance and time code, found out the lap is actually 1:15.9. I need a better GPS unit for more accurate time tracking. Videos:

Phone mounted on windshield:

Alternate angle, helmet mounted Gopro:
[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GPhu9vkzSpQ"]shannonville fabi driver dynamics best lap 1 15 gopro angle - YouTube[/ame]

It was a beautiful day with a clear track so the conditions couldn't have been better. I've improved at trail braking and was using it heavily. I can tell that I've reached a point where significant time improvements are no longer going to happen every time I go out. This is obvious because I ran a 1:16.3 on my first session and only managed to improve that to a 1:15.9 before my day was over. I think a high 1:14 is possible in the cars current form but I'm still quite a ways away from reaching that.

Previous best 1:18.71 with a big puddle:

First time on this configuration, this lap was early in my 2nd session. That said, I have been on the Long Track configuration several times now which includes large parts of this layout so it's not entirely foreign and a large part of the reason for having such a good lap time.

Video: Lap begins at the line at 0:14 and ends at the line at 1:35
I was back on Fabi this last weekend but I was driving my Continental DWS (540TW) street tires because it looked like it was going to rain and it did. Before the rain came down, my best time was 1:23.080. Video is here and I got the lap while I was chasing down a '97 JDM STI right before the session ended.

[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7scj4Yf8B6o[/ame]

During break, the rain came down hard.

A few points to note. I definitely couldn't brake as late as I could on the Rivals and I had to slow down more, especially for corners 3 and 8 to the point where shifting down to 2nd was a given. On the Rivals, I could take them fast enough in 3rd gear that it was mostly a wash but on the DWS, there was no chance. The big difference maker besides braking zones is also turn 4 which can be taken flat on the Rivals but I had to lift on the DWS.

What's you competition weight? Great lap, I was there in TTD with the white BRZ. I thought I was quick at a 1:37.xx, damn you were smoking!

My competition weight is around 2775. The roll cage adds back in pretty much all the weight I lost stripping the interior. I think I can probably drop another 100lbs or so by gutting the doors and power windows, using lexan for the windshield and rear window, trimming out a lot of unnecessary cabling, and removing the passenger seat. I'm planning to do most of that stuff over the off season, so we'll see where it comes out at. My goal is to be competitive in the upcoming ST/TT4 class.

I suck at turn 8... Very badly. When I'm back in January that will be my main focus!!!!! And I'll be on decent and appropriately sized tires lol.

Anyone else interested in going to the scca club trials in January?

Hey, that's me! (Denny)

I have an FR-S now (my daughter drives it to and from high school) and ran a 1:59.1 in it with light mods at the SCCA club trial a few weeks back. Here's the link: [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YDl0bydlsAs"]Scion FR-S Texas World Speedway 1:59.1 - YouTube[/ame]

I've also got it posted in another lap video link here somewhere.

Also, I was not flat in T7 nor T12 (light lifts) due to the right front just completely rolling over on me (again, more camber needed).
