Second, how can the activation of a factory alarm not be done at the factory, port, or during a dealership's pre-delivery inspection? This is the kind of nonsense that makes me really despise the way Subaru does things...

My dealership tried to sell me an after market alarm, I imagine that's why. Toyota, not Subaru.

Very cool thanks, just did it. I always wondered why the car didn't have a standard alarm.

Thats the second thing that I had to enable on this car that should have been enabled from the start, the first being the proximity unlock to unlock both driver and passenger door.

Now if only someone can figure out how to automatically lower the windows if you hold the unlock button

I have a 10 series FRS, and this worked once I fastened my seat belt. It wouldn't work for me until I did that. Any of you Scion 10 guys still struggling, try it.
