I eventually settled on 1 1/2 finger gap all around and set the dampeners to 1 click away from full soft.

For a more detailed look, check out my video of the install.

My wife and I would like a softer more supple ride, something like a VW Golf GTI and not with lowering. We imagine around 15% softer. Will your coilovers do that? For instance how would you rate the ride with your setting compared to the o.e.
We tried deflating the o.e. Michelin tyres from 35 to 32 but that did not feel softer at all for some reason.

Ha. This was in, like, January. So I had to use the wipey thing at the next gas station to clean off the salt and see how bad it actually was.

Well with my daily driving of this car and the Racecomp Engineering SuperStreet-1 coilovers, I set the car all around 1 click away from full soft.

Initial impressions are IMPRESSIVE. The car handles low speed and mid speed bumps so well now. The car feels softer than the OEM sachs dampeners. At this setting, the ride quality is not jarring at all; the vehicle is composed and sporty. The best comparison I can think of is a GOLF GTI (Sporty handling, with European quality ride comfort). The car soaks up the bumps while maintain a quality ride. I recommend this if you're in the market.

Thanks. They sound exactly like what we want I have looked for comments via YouTube and subscribed to your video. I didn't think to look there before. Looking forward to your review.

Installed MTEC shift springs and new poly rear shifter bushing. Shifter feels very solid now. I can’t believe how soft the OEM shifter bushing is.

Installed Grimmspeed hood struts. I don't know how these don't come standard on all cars these days but it feels good to have them again. We'll see how long they'll last but 100% recommended. Easy install and holds the hood open higher than the stick.

Yes $132. I was going to go with a cheaper brand but the reviews on the quality were too low for me so I went with these so hopefully the quality will stand up to the cost.
