Android head unit acting up

Cafi Dashlinq4 Android 4.4.1
It's been 100% and then all of a sudden last night this message below pops up and then the unit resets itself.

"unfortunately, com.Cardroid.voice.update has stopped"

I tried resetting to factory and going into apps and stopping and clearing data on the voice and voice.update apps and it just resets again after about a minute
and repeats this over and over.

Any ideas on what to do?

It seems like it's related to a certain date and time since everybody had it happen at the same time but when you reset to factory settings the time and date go back to 1960 something so we can't just change the date and time to fix it.

Yikes, kitkat means its gonna be quite difficult to get a proper update for it to fix.

Is there a way to flash or sideload a different rom on this device? Like Lineage OS or something, just so you get a newer backbone and OS?

***********OK so I got it running. You just have to kind of repeat what he did in the video. It was shutting off while trying it but in the end the date being set back one year and turning off those two check marks in GPS settings did it. If you go back into the GPS settings, they are checked every time so it seems like it rechecks itself after you exit that menu setting, not sure. I also unplugged the GPS satellite from the back too because I translated that in the comments below the video. So it's either the GPS setting, the date change or unplugging the antenna or some combination of that.

The guy posting that replied it just needs the antenna to be unplugged. I didn't even use GPS in the car and I'd imagine most people don't either so I guess that's it
I should also add that the unit on that video isn't a Cafi so this isn't just our units that were having an issue. There must be thousands of people out there with Android head units all having this issue all at once.

I heard about the gps issue. Assumed a 2013+ device would have considered this. Anywho the apk name is so misleading i kept fiddling around with voice/sound/tts stuff...
