I cant decide on the 527s or the 530s Are they the same weight? And I'm also debating which color to get (silver, matte black or chromium black) for my ablaze (red) 86. Any suggestions/opinions would be really appreciated

For me, 527 all the way! I also like the new 527F. Not really a fan of black wheels anymore, so silver or bronze...

Can't comment on the weights of the 527 or 530. The 527F is forged, and weights are listed for each size.

First post, but I've been eyeing this thread for a bit and i decided to pull the trigger. I haven't seen this fitment yet I dont think. 18x9.75 et35 with 255/35 Achilles on Stance coilovers. Not sure of the exact camber specs, but the rear has all stock arms and i just made the front match. It does rub on the rear lip but nothing a slight roll cant fix.

This looks so good. Not a fan of black wheels but I love how that color looks on blue. It’s so meaty lol any reason why you went so wide other than looks?

Thanks, the chromium black really is a nice neutral tone, not too dark, not too light. I almost went with bronze but I’m glad I didn’t now that they’re on there. I went wide because I wanted the deeper dish of the 9.75, and I did 255s mostly because I didn’t want to stretch the tires too much.

Exactly. They’re not like gunmetal, but not too chrome. Kinda reminds me of the Cosmis R1 in black chrome but that one looks a bit darker than this one.

Ive had some xxr 555's for about 3 years now. Ive put them through some hell being that its my daily and those are my everyday wheels, but they seem to be holding up just fine. If anything i might need an alignment but thats more due to it having been almost two years since ive gotten one than because of the wheels lol.

I have the 527s for 3 years on my daily. Other than being curb-rashed to oblivion (because I don't care anymore at this point )...it held up like a champ. Anyone who physically broke the spokes must have done something really extreme.

thats good news. i suppose now my consideration has nothing to do with them breaking, which is a good thing. now i just need to decide if i can live with a wheel thats slightly heavier.
