Good to hear progress is being made. We're lucky someone is willing to put the development time in for a solution that'll benefit swaps on this platform!

Prototype mount placement is pretty on point! Just need to change a few things on the tranny side, the S2K trans is tricky because its essentially mounted diagonally to line up with the slant of the K/F motor.

Update, new set of test mounts coming this week to make sure it's 100% right. I'd rather everyone be anxious because it's taking too long than to put out parts that don't fit, we're in way too deep to not finish, so don't worry lol
Once mounts are done, they will go into production and presale, followed by a swap oil pan which is absolutely required, followed by a swap header, followed by a shifter solution, followed by a wiring solution, followed by some of the fastest twins on the road and track |

Is the header in the pictures the leading candidate design or do you plan on some experimenting when the time comes?

What is happening in this thread....!? why go from 2.0L to 2.4L swap? unless it didn't have an engine to begin with and the honda engine was super cheap. I've never heard of this. subbed

If the goal is ~350 rwhp or less, you can do it all motor with a built K24, plus save some weight off the front and rev to 9000 rpm. It's a bit of a niche swap, and not the best if you just want dyno queen numbers, but it's not that expensive when you consider that 350 rwhp is into rod and transmission damage range on an FA20.

Are there plans to use the stock trans as an alternative as well?

Stock trans is basically made of glass when compared to typically robust transmissions don't bother with it.

Ehmmm. It's based on the same Aisin transmission as the S2000, so it won't be that far off. There's people putting down 400 lb*ft at the wheels on it. For an NA K24 it should be just fine. The biggest problem I see with the stock tranny is that the motor would have to sit further forward. |

I pushed 481 WTQ on the stock trans, but that does not mean its stout. I treated it pretty lightly to prevent grenading it. No hard launches, took time shifting, etc.. Many many people making power have exploded 4th just engaging it while pushing boost (not a misshift, not a hard launch, just shifting). One of the main reasons to swap is because it altogether deals in one shot with the weak transmission. I agree, for an NA K swap it should be mostly fine, but generally people swap to go for bigger power than that. The cost of developing a swap kit needs to be justified by the market and the market for keeping the stock trans is pretty low.
