Catted Front Pipe recommendations
I'm going with a perrin exhaust on a FI setup. Perrin has an overpipe and the CBE but does not make the front pipe anymore...
So anyone with experience/testimonial with their front pipe(catted) have any suggestions to go with my perrin exhaust counterparts? I'm flexible on size (2.5 OR 3"), but preferably 3" to go with 3" CBE, thanks

Why don't you put a wtb ad for a Perrin front pipe 3" or 2.5"?
Or use the search button as there are MANY threads on this.

Did that already. Haven't had success…I figure with some forum input I can attack this topic from a different angle …hopefully with a better result

Usually if you want the pipe for FI unduction you would want resonated but not catted. Front pipe with cat I had the motiv and it was excellent but it was 2.5". I recommend going full 3" now that you can. I had 2.3 with parts 2.5 and regret not going full 3"

I feel there is something being lost in translation here…I didn't ask for help searching…I can handle searching, I have found front pipes for sale, but my question is/was for experience with different FP (catted) and how they might work/sound with the Perrin parts…
If there isn't feedback out there on this topic then o well. I'm just utilizing the forum as a resource that I thought it is here for…testimonials

The only 3's I've seen is nameless The HF cats are not restrictive to the flow of turbo applications I've found. Especially if going 3. I'm almost backed into corner on 2.5 on FP Bc there's not a lot of 3s out there

If you were going 2.5" catted front pipe, I would suggest P&L. Why? Because it would mate to your Perrin Catback with a gasket instead of a donut like traditional frontpipes use. Just a thought.

JDL also does a flat flange for the Perrin if you tell them to. I have one with my Perrin 2.5".
