Mysterious turbo kit

Hey guys, I'm in the process of rebuilding an frs with significant hail damage. I'm going to be purchasing this car as a parts car for my rebuild. It was in a front end collision. Except for the front bumper, the car looks to be in great shape and has all the parts I need to fix my other frs. I'm curious on the turbo kit though. Not sure if I will be using it on my rebuild car yet. Just looking to get a lil more info on it since the car is not in my possession yet. It's a salvage out of Nevada. any info would be great. Thanks!! I did do some turbo kit searching before i made this post. This is on a 2014 frs

The intercooler and air tubing are probably scrap too.
A not insignificant part of the boost kit.

Thanks, big tuna... been awhile since I've been on the forums. the intercooler looks to be in pretty good shape for a front end hit. I won't know until it arrives though. Any ideas on the kit? At this point, the whole car is scrap in regards to an insurance company's opinion. I'm just trying to rescue an frs that was heading to a scrap pile. I'm paying less for the whole car than the poor guy paid for this turbo kit. If its worth it I'll save it!

I'm not sure what you mean by "not insignificant".... significant would mean that its a crucial part of the whole kit. insignificant would mean that it is not that important. and "not insignificant" would mean you don't know how to use English sir.

I think he's just playing with words there to essentially emphasize how important that part is ~

I don't recognize that kit. It might be a custom though. Pretty cool to see that wrap though.

As much as you think you'll save money, (in my personal opinion) never buy a used Turbo or supercharger. Unless you do a proper rebuild. At that point I'll just spend a bit more for a nice new unit.

Although technically a double negative, it's fairly common. Much like saying something is "non-negligible."

Id be more concerned about the motor than the turbo kit at this point.

Whoever owned it must have had $ to wrap intercooler piping with heatwrap instead of reflective tape. Also uninformed, since the tape would work much better.

Looks like a Treadstone kit given the pipe routing
