This one was good, but I think my favorite was the Irish guy test driving one at a dealership named Hughes. He was hilarious, and his joy and enthusiasm really stood out. I'm not sure where it is but if you google youtube hughes gt86 it might work.

Reminds me once again why I bought my BRZ, and just how boring and awful the roads are in the Northeast.

I remember watching this before I had mine. Then again after and laughing at how hard it was for him to get it to oversteer. The car must have been down on power from the altitude on some of those roads (maybe combined with hot temps). Because 2nd gear hairpins do not require the handbrake for hooning

The video does make clear the situational factors that feed into one's choices - I am sure if the environs around Toronto had roads like that I'd own one of these now, but endless straight grids make for a different equation for maximizing driving fun - there's less of a singular emphasis on handling, and power and tractability become more important.

Come to the Kitchener /Waterloo area where they have embraced the roundabout as world's best traffic management system.

This video helped me start using the term mini-GT when describing the BRZ. I've been on a dozen 8-10 hour drives with it and it's unexpectedly comfortable. Love this review.

Here is the irish guy review:

Great video that I hadn't seen until now. Confirms all of the reasons that I purchased my FR-S. Thanks for sharing it

I remember watching this video several times when it was first posted. Puts in such a mellow and nostalgic mood when "Girls" starts playing at the end of the video. Glad it was brought back up to the front page. Now I just want to go out driving and I just got to work.

Seems very odd to me that the people who get to drive cars that are mostly unobtanium for many love the FR-S, yet half the clowns here complain about it.
