Best Fog Kit for FRS
I am looking at the Dynamic Diode kit for 150$. Like the simple install and will only run with headlights on.

You can install it with a relay and a round little switch in the car. They sell the relay and the switch to install. I think they also have a basic/general overview of how to wire something to their relays, if you want it to run independently.

I bought the Diode Kit that you're considering, but haven't got a chance to install it yet. I think these are for people who are looking for simple configuration. There are other kits out there, but you have to deal with additional wires that comes into the cabin. Extra switch does give you ability to turn it on and off whenever you want to.
Since you want it to be on only when headlight is on, I think Diode kit is the way to go. Plus, they supply the factory bezel, which keeps OEM appearance. Also glass fog light housing adds additional protection. |

Best Fog Kit for FRS
Another satisfied Diode Dynamics fog kit user here. Super easy to install. I don't mind that the fog light housings aren't glass either (they aren't as prone to cracking). I'll be wrapping them with yellow Lamin-x fog light covers soon to match my Nokya 2500k yellow bulbs. So far I've had no electrical issues with the kit as well. The OEM Toyota bezels are also a plus for me.
