I think it's ugly and wish it was AWD at least, but the interior and aero look very nice. Looks like Honda has learned aero is important. The splitter/sideskirts/completely flat bottom/rear diffuser look great. Wish my S2000 had all that. haha

This thing has enough wings, scoops, ducts and body cladding to go toe to toe with a Z06.
I prefer cars to be much more subtle.

It looks quite stable even in limited traction moments. Definitely isn't an aggressive track setup as you never saw a moment of opposite lock (well not really) so it's still very much a daily driven street setup albeit stiff. It looked surprisingly good around high speed bends however which suggests the front aero is more than just aesthetics.

The discussion here is much more civilized and educated than the one on the Facebook groups. I'm glad!
"frs is rwd though" "it's ugly" "lul still a Honda" Sigh.

Because it won't pass emissions or safety regulations, just my guess.

http://www.honda.co.uk/cars/civic/ The civic type r is based on the JDM/European market civic hence we won't get it. I think the most likely thing to happen will be they stuff the motor into our civic. It will most likely be a larger/heavier version of the car or we won't get it at all. |
