I just installed NA tune 5.33. It replaced 5.19. What changes were made between these versions?

Hi Bill,
<Text originally sent in an email> I have been working on the planning for next year's NASA TT competition. Looks like I have the TTD AZ Regional Championship sewed up for 2014. Thanks for all the great work that helped make it possible. I am heading to Road Atlanta next week for the NASA East Nationals event and will have just two west coast events left after that for this year. My plan is to build the car to compete in TTC next year so that will leave me with a new set of points to work with. The car is currently maxed out on points and HP for TTD so the move up will allow me to make quite a bit more HP. I will be shooting for a maximum of around 235 RWHP (DynoJet) while staying NA. I don't have enough points to go with FI and I also just like to be different! So I am looking for advice and guidance. Do you think it is possible to get to 235 RWHP in NA trim? I have read up on and followed your comments about the JDL EL Header. I will be able to do anything I want to the exhaust. Do you think the JDL is a good choice for me? If so, I think I need to get an order in now! I have removed the AC, have a lightweight flywheel/clutch (ACT), carbon fiber driveshaft, E85 Tune, and will have points to replace/modify the airbox & filter. I plan on using JDL catless overpipe and front pipe with no muffler(s). I still don't think these mods are enough so I was very interested to read about the cams you are working on (Michelle's car I assume?). Are these going to be available any time soon and if so, are they optimized or suitable for NA use? Any other suggestions on how to maximize the NA potential of the FRS? If the cams aren't right or will not be available, can you estimate how much HP to expect with the mods I have mentioned? I can use weight reduction points instead of the cams if necessary. I hope to have all the changes made in time to use the car in the first event the second week of January. I know some of the parts have a long lead time so I was hoping to start ordering as soon as possible. I really trust your advice and look forward to hearing your thoughts. Cheers, Hal Dunn Yuma, AZ

Updates 1. Intake and Exhaust Cam overlap for smoother power delivery especially in the mid power range. 2. More power in the mid-top end for better power between shifts and faster 1/4 mile times 3. Smoother power delivery by refining A/F ratios and timing values across the powerband Sincerely, FONT=verdana]Delicious Tuning[/FONT] Last edited by DeliciousTuning; 04-11-2019 at 05:30 PM. |

So if I've got an OMNI 2.5 bar sensor already, is that sufficient for tuning on the C30 Kraftwerks kit? Install day is coming soon, but I need to find a tune!

93 octane. I may dive into the E85 world at a later point with larger injectors and flex fuel.

To send to Canada it usually depends on customs. We have seen usually about 3-5 business days via USPS but on occasion it can take up to 3 weeks if it get stuck in customs. We use USPS because it usually is the fastest way to get things to orders placed in Canada. Cheers, William Knose Delicious Tuning |
