No worries, I work in a manufacturing plant. So we got lots of machines making lots of noise. Most people wear ear plugs because of it.

And some random pictures of my uncles cars. The only one he still has is the red 1987 911 Turbo. The F430 replaced the black Porsche 911 Turbo S, but he only had the F430 for a year, so I never got a ride in it. And the red S4 in the back has been replaced by a silver S4 (newer of course).

A little history on this photo...well for me.

I found this photo on this thread and fell in love with it.

Swiftly after i found out who took this photo, i went on the hunt to find a print.
I kept asking direct detailers of the photographer who supply his photos (William Claxton) and i came up dry.

No one knows about this photo, even after 30+ galleries emailed.

Then i found one, i found one gallery that said they might have it. Before i asked them to really start looking (i wouldn't of wanted to waste their time) i asked for a mere quote.
$5,000 for a 20x30.

The fuck? 5K for a print? Wasn't a original, wasn't even signed and they said it would be around 5K. Sigh.

So here i am to this day, looking for this photo. I did however find one gallery that said they will get back to me in mid Feb about any info.


I had a 20x30 print from a photographer that shoots for Speedhunters, they charged me around $24 with shipping.

To put it in perspective, the original photographs each fetched USD ~$2,400 at Artcurial auction on December 19, 2011. I'm with you -- five grand for a generic print is ridiculous. Ooh, the new Focus looks awesome. If you took the grille off of it and slapped it onto the Speed3, the Mazda would look much better; that grin is just so off-putting. I really like the 'sharpness' of the Mazda, but i'm totally on your team in regards to admiration of the new Focus ST.
