27 male single

Full comprehensive insurance (500 collision deductible, 250 comprehensive deductible) comes out at $450.97 per 6 months or $75.16 a month

only $2 dollars a month more than a 2009 Accord Sedan.

I'm 25, with GEICO and military discount (which isn't much) it's 169 a month for full coverage.

Nothing on my record either so that helps.

probably "most" carriers do not have the car even in their systems yet!

it may get worse, once the carriers realize these cars will fold like an accordian on impact! won't matter how many air bags it has, damn car is ''scary" light! really nothin' to it! ..japanese steel+ impact tree, car,or boulder=a grape squashed for wine!..just sayin'

yes you are correct! i know, but in reality, the car is too damn light
and impacting anything will be catastrophic regardless! it won't matter
unfortunately, and the got damn carriers will know this, and adjust rates accordingly!
count on this! ..just sayin'

$211/month. 23, female, one speeding ticket, in Massachusetts. This is through Liberty Mutual.

EDIT : the above was with liability limits of 50/100/50, UM/UIM 50/100, comp/coll deductibles of $300/$1000, and with roadside/rental car coverages as well.

Mine is on the high end as I got my license late in the game and never took driving school, ect. But I already knew that going into buying the FRS so can't complain regardless, lol. Mass insurance rates tend to go by the amount of years you have been licensed, rather then by age (ie. insurance rate dropping at age 25, ect).

I also work for an insurance company as well, and there are a few companies that DO have the FRS/BRZ VIN information populating in their systems at this time. A lot still do not. When the VIN does not populate, it is typical the company will then ask for MSRP, body style (coupe vs sedan, ect) engine size, and the vehicle is then given whats called a "symbol" (as Deeeznuuuts83 commented in an earlier post!). For those of you whose insurance company couldnt "find" the BRZ/FRS with the VIN, and used details such as price, body style, ect - expect the price to change, likely at renewal of your policy. Once more crash ratings have come forward on the vehicle itself, the insurance companies systems will be updated with the correct "symbol" which will pull from the VIN automatically. I know when I originally quoted mine, the VIN wouldn't populate anything on the car whatsoever, and then when I finally added the car to my policy, the VIN was in my companies system a few weeks later and it was about a $200 difference/year from the original quote.

this is ''dead nuts" accurate! in the final analysis, the (v.i.n.) WILL be the determining factor, with all appropriate info on the car, being available with presentation of the (v.i.n.)
so "unfortunately" expect crash worthiness, parts costs, and other misc. information to effect changes on the overall premium.to be perfectly "blunt" as more people get killed
in the car,you will pay more,so pray that DOESN'T happen!
