Yep. Take the stripes and special colour away and it is pretty much a Monogram with orange trimmed interior bits.

Oh well. I'm always excited to see new colors show up. A guy in my town wrapped his an interesting emerald green and a different guy did an even more hyper blue than the series hyper blue.

Hopefully we get a nice wine red sometime.

They seem to be stuck on yellow, orange and blue for some reason. I saw a beautifully done teal wrap once. It showed the lines off vey well.

Found a white one for sale near me today. The stripes don't bother me as much in person although I still think I'd prefer without. This one also has a TRD exhaust installed already. Really want to see one in orange now.

The stripes actually look pretty good in these pics. I wouldn't mind them at all if they were actually painted on but being just stickers they come across a bit rice.

I think a lot of people prefer them being stickers so they can take them off if they choose to. I ALMOST considered this car for that reason, but the extra money for the stuff it comes with and no Performance Package is what swayed me away from it. If this had the Brembos and shocks the BRZ's come with, I'd have gotten the 860 no question.

OH no doubt. But on the other hand if they were painted then people may not be so eager to get rid of them for looking tacked on as an afterthought. Painted stripes in the same gloss as the car have a totally different look than stickers.

Looks like they kept the stock 17 wheels but gave them a different paint.

The "86" on the rear bumper appeared to have been painted.

Yep, that's exactly what they are. Light-graphiteish finish.

I believe it's similar to the "Scion" logo on the back of the FRS. It's a protective film for the trunk area with the 86 logo on it.

Do manufacturers even paint stripes any longer? I don't know the last time I saw a production car with a painted stripe.

Maybe not at this price point, $5k option on the Viper......but Prefix paint is perfect.
