I think I read a vented hood doesn't reduce temps as much as you'd think.

I haven't seen any testing with the available hoods, both Velox (http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...ght=velox+hood) and TrackSpec (http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=100907) have been tested and both work and both have solutions for controlling water coming through the vents while the hoods do not.
I have the Velox vents and water trays and am very happy with them. Probably would have gone with TrackSpec if they had a solution for the rain and car washes at the time.
