DAYUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats great! But according to your numbers, if you push the kit much more, you will need yet another stronger clutch! Maybe if they can make a 4 or 6 puck, unsprung it would hold a bit more? I don't know much about making clutches, but your putting down almost the max of what your current clutch is good for! lol But, good job from Exedy and everyone who has a part in this build so far. And like always, Don and John, thanks for the updates! Oh, one more thing, so, you didn't up the HP or anything on your 11.3 run, right? Still 439rwhp, right? Thanks a bunch!

I highly doubt that...
But seriously - do you have numbers or estimates?

It's unbelievable to think that this is still using the stock longblock, stock header, etc. There is still some power to be made on the table, I reckon, plus with forged internals, the boost can only go up...
And what about cams...oh man.. Last edited by vubaru; 09-07-2012 at 05:04 AM. |

So, the weakish looking conrods, the wild compression ratio and nothing marvellous looking pistons and everything else about this NA Subaru Boxer that was once everyone's worry - all put to bed for now.
This motor will change the way a few engine builders think about their work in the future. High compression + boost results in phenominal power from small engines
