Depends where you put it...

Any considerable amount of weight added away from the vehicle center of mass will have an effect on handling, though that doesn't mean it will have an effect that you would ever notice during street use.

Front-mounted kits add a bit of weight to the nose of the car, which will effect balance. But again, I've yet to see anyone with one installed complaining or commenting on a noticeable change.

Bottom-mounted kits keep the weight more centralized and very low. I wouldn't expect to feel a different in handling/balance at all with this style kit.

I *personally* would have zero concern regarding this. I just think the effects will be negligible.

Just put on a lightened pulley..... That will more than make up for it :-)
Oh.. and the HP fuel rail safety brackets....Battery holddown bracket....and wheel balance weights.

Thats gotta be 75 pounds right there!

I've always experienced more over-steer with turbo'ed RWD cars.
