Any news/progress/plans to go forward? Seems like the supply of reasonably priced M85 diffs has dried up. And, again, I'd prefer a change in just the O/D ratio over all gears...

BTW - I contacted MFactory about just making a "one off" taller 6th gear. I was thinking even if it was like $1000-1500 it might be worth it. They said it would cost like $10,000 to produce just one and about the same to make 30. That's why they need 30 people. Unfortunately, it looks like getting 30 people together is a long shot.

Thanks for sharing the info. I still am hoping we get enough.

In. Completely ready to spend $350 on this.

I've regeared other cars, and a long sixth in this thing would be just awesome.

To note, I went from a 0.94 to 0.87 5th in my old B5, which gives me 80mph at 3300 instead of 3600. While it doesn't sound like much, it was a significant fuel economy gain and relaxed things quite a bit in the cabin.

Has anyone checked the global parts catalogue for these things? Because for the B5, I went to the German catalogue and just ordered their 0.87 gearset for $150 or so. I will ask my Toyota contact.
