You can siphon or pump the fuel out through the filler tube.

Have you done this? Just curious because I haven't tried it. The last couple of cars I've owned had antisiphoning devices in the filler tube so you couldn't siphon gas out of them.

According to the service manual it is possible as long as the tube is less than 10 mm diameter, my 1st attempt didn't work though

Update:
Success, quarter inch fuel line works perfectly to push around the stop valve, three feet of tubing, if accessed at the rubber hose off the fuel tank

How much was the check valve from Vortech?

I've never drained the fuel tank so I can't help you with that

Don't overtorque your blower dipstick, and definitely do not check it while its hot or warm. Bad news.

So my maxflow valve is getting slightly annoying due to my new "quiet" build, I'm going to put something together later today that will hopefully let me use the stock bosch bypass valve with the charge pipe thats meant for the maxflow valve.

Hopefully this means you can swap the valves without pulling the charge tube, and may also mean that you can install a maxflow valve on a charge tube meant for the stock bypass valve.

Once the parts come in I will know for sure

Finished, blissful silence once again lol
This will allow you to bolt your stock bosch/any other 25mm/1" bypass valve onto the chargepipe that comes with the maxflow valve. This should also allow you to bolt a maxflow valve onto the stock charge pipe if there is enough clearance.
The adapter is a greddy RS bov flange to 25mm/1" hose, they can be had on ebay etc. for pretty cheap. Drill the holes out to 17/64" IIRC (next bit size up from what the holes are) so that the vortech maxflow hardware will fit, and bolt it up with the bypass filter pointing down. Plenty of clearance in this configuration, and good if you want to swap back and forth between bypass valves (loud/quiet) without replacing the entire section of charge pipe

Anyone do a weight study on the system yet? I'm estimating the whole system weighs around 55lbs.

Hey guys, I want to ask some of the owners who did the pulley swap already. I'm contemplating on installing the 3.125 pulley on my car. Currently I have stock pump and injectors with the stock pulley making 270whp. I plan to at least make 300whp.
Upgrading to the 3.125 pulley will need aftermarket injectors and fuel pump, which will cost around $600. The question is, is it worth the hassle for 2-3psi of boost? I still plan to use pump gas on it as we have only one station that offers E85 in our area. It's doable, but the problem is when I drive on out of town trips.
Should I just get a flex fuel kit instead? The cost are almost the same, but will E85 on 9psi get me to 300whp?

@Tye300 you can use the 3.125 pulley with the stoke fuel system it work OK for me, but as soon as header and exhaust we're install it urgently needed more fuel, so be wear AFR is a good idea.
