Hey thanks!

It will have to be re-tuned regardless. Or, more like I don't feel safe running the UEL specific tune with an EL header.

So yes, it will be my current tune + UEL header versus Delicious ACE tune + ACE header.

Unfortunately that is the best I can do.

I don't ever recommend doing a WOT pull to redline, untuned. That's a great way to put your engine at risk.

The true comparison is each header with a tune that's optimized for the header.

Yep! Pretty much my take on it.

I believe he has access to an OTS stage 2 tune like OFT(?) It would be nice to see you guys do a true comparison tho.

I would not recommend a WOT redline pull on an Ace header with a OFT Stage 2 tune.

IIRC with non-ace specific OTS tunes dyno results were rather bad. Yes, something like torque dip was gone, but gains were very small. Only after DT invested lot of manhours into developing proper specialised tune those headers shown their potential. So i see no reasons not to use DT Ace-specific OTS tune, otherwise investment "to get best" will be for nothing, or on contrary one will get less performance then with some cheaper generic uel headers but with better fitting them tune.

That's the best you can do for a fair & objective comparison. Can't wait to see the install & Dyno.

And that's also right thing to do for review/results others should expect, as those header/tune combinations most probably are most common among different users/customers with only few paying extra for custom dyno tunes.
