Intake and water
I am about to pull the trigger on the perrin intake. But one concern/question I had was about any possibilities of it (or similar designed intakes) catching any water? Does the front bumper deflect any possible water from getting onto the filter?
My car is parked outside and it rains fairly regularly where I live. Just wanted to hear about any feedback or if it shouldn't be a concern at all. Thanks

Pretty much all the intakes all pull in air from where the stock intake pull in water including the perrin unit which goes exactly where the stock unit was, that place is higher than the block if im not mistaken.
So if you get water there you should be pulling out a life jacket :P |

Don't worry about it. As long as you don't submerge your filter, you should be good.

The way the Perirn is designed and where it sits, you really have nothing to worry about. Just dont go driving into any lakes and you should be fine lol
