Isn't it? At the very beginning, I almost vetoed it but it quickly came together.

personally I think the F15 is more than bad ass enough for its job. the F18 needs the replacement more than anything... its just... its like that chevy truck that doesnt quiet ever die so you keep fixing small stuff. 30 years later its still running and you are like.. gotta take horse to the pasture |

Also, any fighter aircraft that can "take hits" will indeed take hits because they are too damn slow or un-maneuverable. Also also, when you can shoot a missile at some dude behind you, you don't really need to worry about the airframe's capability... |

Those are probably my second favorite aircraft. Well actually, It would go, C17, F22, A10. Each of those have a place in my heart.

And believe it or not, my money is still on the f35 in anything but a gunfight. The F18 E and F are completely different aircraft than A-D that just happen to look the same. |

Yeah, there's a reason the a10 is slow AF lol. Air to air, doesn't stand a chance though.

All the focus should be on new drones. Piloted planes should be for cargo runs, not combat areas.

I'm slowly automating parts of the admin work I have to do. There are pre-made systems, but they're stupidly expensive. 20-30k/year and requiring a ton of setup? I don't think so. I finally have an auto-updating spreadsheet of class availability. I'd like automatic online enrollment, but then there are always kids switching classes and people signing up for the wrong classes, plus discounts, complex calculations of what the actual fee is, credits, and so on. So I still have to invoice, but maybe someday I can get invoices to auto-populate so I just have to check them, tweak them, and send.
