My 2013 FRS had OFT on it and now looking back at some of my videos, it was doing 61mph with a 7550 limiter. Been a few years since that car...I'll update my original reply. Keep in mind the 7800 limiter with 255's was on my 2017 BRZ, so shorter final drive gearing that your 2015 or my 2013 of course.

stx setup
2015 BRZ Limited Car is More of a Street STX setup for a daily driver,
Suspension: SS1 coilovers with 340 spring rates front and rear fronts set at 80% stiff and rear at 50% Front psi 32 rear 30 Camber: -3.2* front, 0 toe / -2.2* rear, little bit of toe in Perrin 22m front bar on soft RacerX end-links in front Velox rear arms with poly bushings Engine: Stock intake with K&N filter Perrin inlet tube Perrin 2.5 inch non resonated exhaust (Looking to do header and tune and maybe intake next year) Wheels, Tires, Other: Enkei 17x9 rpf1s gunmetal with 245/40/17 Rivals (Ferodos pads purchased for next year) Only have one event so far and i am very rusty, Took 6 event runs and 3 fun runs to get the car to a time with not much left on the table i think anyhow(dropped like 4 seconds ), codriver and myself feel the car was mostly neutral with bias towards understeer when pushed. At this point the gas can be mashed in a turn with very min to no oversteer which may change with header and tune down the road. The negative is car is a bit hard to rotate, it was easier with higher rear pressure, with lower pressure car really sticks. FWIW __________________ Last edited by KevBRZ; 10-03-2019 at 10:05 AM. Question for those of you with RacerX front end links. Are they shorter than stock length? My Whitelines seized up and I'm looking to replace them.
Also, any noise issues with them? Last edited by smg1138; 12-02-2019 at 03:19 PM. |

They are shorter than stock. At the absolute shortest setting they were contacting the body of the car on large bumps. I can't speak to noise or durability, I've only had them on for a few hundred miles which they have been quite. |

@cueball89 Did you set them to remove pre-load? I think my Whiteline KLC 180-195's are about the same size, but I haven't had any problems with rubbing.

Rubbing is very dependent on the type of coilover/shock you're running.
As I've found out, the whiteline endlinks I had initially contacted the inside fender. Further investigation with Karwan/Karcepts we've discovered the MCS location on the shock body for endlink was more severely pitched/lower than say KW. I bought my own from McMaster Carr and built (similar to what RacerX now carries) and resolved the issue. Now I use Karwans provided on the Karcept bar

Yes they are shorter than stock, if i remember correctly when they were fully extended maybe about an 1 inch shorter i think it was, and i have had mine on for a few thousand miles with Racecomp engineering SS1 coilovers and Perrin FSB set on soft setting with no issues and no noise etc.

There's no preload. The stock endlinks and the racerx endlinks bolted right up with no undue tension with the front wheels under load. RCE SS1 coilovers lowered ~25-30mm with a 19mm perrin front bar. |

Speaking of front end links and understanding how there are variations based on each car's specific set-up...
Anyone found an effective end link to pair with the "original" Ohlins Road &Track coilovers and a Whiteline 20mm FSB which does not make contact with the coilover? I think the Whitline ones make contact under full lock or something similar, but couldn't say exactly when it hits. I just know for sure I've sheared the driver link bracket (since replaced) from the forces and the pass side looks bad. Thanks!

If "piecing something" together means mixing manufacturers across parts, that's exactly what I was asking about. If no one has an 'end link only' suggestion, I'm very open to switching out the FSB too.
If the piecing together is a suggestion for a trail and error approach, I guess that's more like plan C.

I'm not sure if Kyle ever posted his parts list or still has it, but I'm sure there is info for a good starting point out there. |
