Another vote for red. Damn that's a nice car! Keep it up!

And Congratulations on the new baby! This is a super fun time of year for newborns. Enjoy

Any word on this?

Also, I thought HID had superior output than LED: https://www.ft86club.com/forums/show...&postcount=172

I like the 5yr warranty offered by the Retrofit Source. Definitely be the store I would get them from.
The HIDs will have more focus for down road visibility and more of a hot spot up close because of it. HIDs can still be blinding from far away if someone lacks a projector or doesn’t aim it correctly. This is evidence enough that HIDs generally are brighter.

LED should have a more saturated/brighter look for up close, but it fails to match HIDs for down road illumination. They tend to be more obnoxious to oncoming drivers, but that is mostly up close because they intensity dissipates quickly.

The ideal situation would be HID projector headlights and LED projector fog lights because there would be down road visibility and up close full saturation at a low height, so there is less chance of blinding oncoming traffic.

I've been looking through this thread and searching for 30 minutes to no avail. Where'd you get that front crash bar? It looks sick with the front grill off. Also, have you had issues with crap flying up into your intercooler and cooling setup with the grill off?

It's a JDL crash bar, I ordered it with my turbo kit.

No issues with debris so far but I'm also not driving behind other cars on dirty or unpaved roads. There's been a few leaves that made their way in but they're easy to grab. I'd say there's no more risk for small debris getting in than with the oem grille piece present since it's got pretty large openings anyways, not a finer mesh like the FR-S

Ahh thank you that makes sense now. On a side note, do you have an Instagram page for this build?

I've been needing to get something more sturdy for my Verus splitter chassis mounts on the JDL front bar. I'd previously used 250lb tensile strength industrial zip ties and was never satisfied with them even though they held my body weight on the leading edge fine. These new clamp mounts are perfect and only $16 👌
