For someone who DD's their car on the T2s plus some ax/track, what does the lifecycle look like for these assuming no damage? Any special care/maintenance needed? When/how to get rebuilt? When to replace? Is the answer the same for all struts/coilovers or is everything a bit different?

KW says 60K miles service. I think that is a bit optimistic.

I went T2s and am having no regrets. The ride on the road is great, and they served me quite well at Road America yesterday. Wish I'd done them sooner.

I just swapped to T2s from my V3s. I went 85,000 miles on them. 85,000 miles of Chicago roads, weekend autocross, and 6 salt-covered winters. They were definitely in need of a rebuild by the end, but still working fine, and still looked great to boot. I believe one of them had a bit of a clunk happening, and both fronts had a tiny bit of hydraulic oil pooling inside the rebound adjuster. I have to give credit where it's due; they are indeed well-built.

Damn that is pretty good. Maybe 60K isn't a stretch.

I bought mine used and don't know the history on them so I am going to have them rebuilt this winter.

I don't DD my car(just the occasional drive to work), but after 6 years of track time I sent the fronts to be rebuilt, they were not leaking, however KW recommended I replace the shafts (I'm assuming they get scratched up over time). I'm not shy of curbing

Shaft bushings probably got worn. I used to see this on forks and shocks of MX bikes. There is a low friction coating on the bushings and once that goes away it starts chewing up the shaft or fork tube.
