Most of us will install ourselves, or with help from other members of the club. Locally, we have had members do everything from the simple stuff to engine rebuilds without going to the shop. Being a part of the club has its perks.

Howzit! I saw you on Dillingham Blvd last week at about 7:50 a.m.

What brand of exhaust are most of you using?
I'm looking at getting a Perrin 3.0 resonated.

I run catless Perrin 2.5 resonated. If you want to hear it lmk. I don't recommend 3" to anyone really, they're loud and offer 0 gains.

Your warranty isn't any more or less valid because you get an aftermarket part installed by the dealer, just so you know.

Also for OP, a few of us like to help others with installs and sometimes we even do wrench days.

I was thinking of getting Perrin 2.5 resonated but I read it's not that much louder than stock. I don't want obnoxiously loud just a lil louder than stock.

Servco customer rep told me I can get aftermarket exhaust as long as it's bolt on with no welding.

Thanks for the advice.

People have differences of opinion on that. I think Perrin is a good fit if you don't want drone. I'm told I'm not that quiet, but I'm also full catless, lol.

I recommend you guys join us on our local LINE app chat if you want to get together with other 86 owners on island.

I'm running a 2.5" Perrin resonated with Tomei UEL.

It's definitely louder than stock, but not obnoxiously so, save for when starting it in the morning.

It has no drone. It's got a very appealing deep tone, and gives your car a nicer sound than your typical 4-banger. It's not soo loud that you'll garner the attention of HPD, but the volume is such that it'll turn heads, if that's what you're looking for.

It's a quality piece - I would highly recommend it as exhausts go.

Seems like OP is looking for a business to install. As far as bolt-ons like an exhaust goes, Auto Customs does a great job. Jeff has been wrenching from before the Eurosport days.
