Well you can always use it as a low mileage daily like I do with my BRZ. I just find that the aging process is pretty much the same regardless unless you hibernate it in the winter.

I can't even drive these STIs with my big feet as the pedal box is ridiculously narrow, so it saves me money.

I hear where Niki is coming from and understand that some people want tp preserve special editions but I buy cars to drive damnit and drive the thing I would. Even in winter. Since I will never, ever, ever, live long enough to see a car appreciate in value it is simply not even on my radar to keep it like new. I will maintain it and keep it as nice as possible but that is where it ends. I am the guy that helps make the preserved ones worth more in the future.

I buy cars to use, or in my case use and abuse

These should help our prospective

It depends where you live. If public transport is quite advanced, then you basically have the car for the weekends. I would never use the S209 or something similar for silly mileage.

You are into lifestyle considerations there. I wouldn't take public transportation if I worked even a mile from home! That is what I own a car for. Ironically enough my car can sit untouched for most weekends so why have a car at all? If it was me that is. I would use the hell outta an S209.

I would use it like every other car and motorcycle.

I don't buy fun things to look at.

I cannot see the point.

This is why most of us here in Ontario drive to get to places (takes me 10 mins to drive to work but 35 mins by bus). Our public transit system is from the stone age.

I was a prisoner of TTC for 15 years! Oh take transit, they say. Fuck you, how about that. I don't even do it when it's more convenient than driving. So many bad memories. NEVER GOING BACK
