Comes in handy when you've got a sawzall and a large intercooler to fit though.

You'd still have to cut open a bunch of holes in it or find an aftermarket grill with more holes. And I don't think too many people are going to spend a ton of money to upgrade an inferior platform like a Scion iA.

Well, we know the current Toyobaru has a pretty low CoD - only a hair worse than a Prius - so the current grill set up must not be too bad. As that was a point of pride for the car at release I doubt Toyota would risk undoing that too much with the face lift. This grill is very tame compared to many modern cars.

Seems to be Gazoo's mule, as confirmed by a friend who works in the Nordschleife.

They don't design it cuz there is no need to go through with the extra stuff? I know have lots small pockets ain't a bad thing. Like how golf ball is full of small pockets on its surface so it get to travel through air faster and further away. But I'm no physics major so I can't explain why. 😁

Yes.^^

Although the internet armchair designers will tell you all sorts of things the real ones actually have equipment (and not just computer models) to test and verify the designs well before the car ever hits the test track. They know what they are doing.

Eh, this is a closeup of what's actually happening with laminar airflow. The idea is to create miniature ball bearings made of air so that the majority of the flow can glide over the object easier.

In this case, smooth is slow. Careful when you polish those heads and lose power cuz shiny.

I don't like the rear spoiler at all. Even though I have a BRZ Limited, I think the Five Axis/Carsmo duckbill types look better.

Here's the video of it leaving with the gazoo one. Looks like the gazoo had an updated rear bumper

Ok is it just me, or do they for some reason look a little like Valenti tail lights? Like that slightly lighter gray bit. They leave the camo over that part so I don't know what it is. Does anyone else see that or is it just me?

They've pretty clearly rearranged the light arrangement because now the reverse component is to the outside (or middle) where it used to be red.
