We didn't do a large enough production run to do a group buy. We made 50 of each pulley and by the time they were distributed into the different kits, we were left with a small qty of each.

We are giving out a coupon code for a discount to the people who are seriously interested in buying our products. If you need to know more, email me jarrett (@) raceseng.com

I could justify doing a custom color if there was a 20+ person group buy.

Are they available raw? I would like to anodize them myself.

Brian, they are not available raw but an anodizer can strip our anodizing off. They would need to electropolish the pulleys to bring the brightness back and then anodize.

So do these make more noise over the stock ones? I don't mind if they do I'm just curious, with the open spoke design it seems like they would have a bit of a whistle, whine, or hiss to them.

Nothing that we could appreciate...at least not over the SC whine!

@Raceseng Looks like there is two more idler pulleys that could use a billet replacement?

The tensioners are made of plastic already.

Not sure if I follow. If you mean that the Al pieces won't be any lighter, I agree. The ugly plastic idlers just look out of place next to the fancy Raceseng pulleys.

Sorry for the short explanation, but short answer yes. In the past when I asked them about replacements, they didn't find it to be of any benefit to make replacements for those. You can try painting them to make them look a bit nicer if you really wanted to.

We do carry these now in the online store, but here's some pics of the install and I should mention that we don't carry stuff we don't like. I hate RMAs (we've done 2 in 4 years, wrong item ordered )

Though Raceseng is a new company to the ft86 community, they are here to stay. 100% completely made in the US, with attention paid to the utmost details like anodizing, materials suppliers, and everything else. Not to mention multiple industrial design and engineering degrees. This is the real deal.

What can I say? Engine revs with less hesitation, and with the SC the belt doesn't slip. So good to go. Prettiest thing on the engine until the header comes in! You definitely get what you pay for here and then some.
