I went in my.IS forums, and I see a guy in the forums claims that Toyota filed FR-S trademark in both the US and Canada. If what he said is true, FR-S is the official name.

Looks like Hachiroku already modified the website title, it now says "Toyota FR-S Forum / FT-86 Forum and Subaru 216a Forum"

I like it, not just the name but a solid piece of information from toyota, and its something they did, not squashing a rumor (though I am glad that they did squash it). I wouldn't be surprised if in the next couple days Toyota makes an official anouncement of this since it just hit the forums, and the name seems like one it would grow on you.
