there is another thread or so floating around here about them. The short version from my perspective is this: They are a quality twin tube, steel bodied damper. Their rebuild schedule is good for a street shock, and the street ride, if its like their other systems for other cars may ride smoother than stock. I think for the money they are a great buy.

I've run v3's and club sports on other cars, but for a couple of reasons, on my FR-S I will be running AST 4150's. they aren't out yet, but would be a good option in the similar price range.

I sell, but more importantly, also run KW's on my own FR-S. Let it be known that I sell many brand. I've done a number of AST, Ohlins, I sell a ton of Koni and Bilstein too. I also will have the HKS stuff for this car as well.

I am happy to personally discuss the KW's with you guys if you want. I could say they are great, etc. But a real conversation allows more detail. All it takes is a phone call.

I have them and love them,

I'm a 34 year business owner who daily drives this car by the way. Very good ride quality which was very important to me.

i know that they are expensive but if you want a great daily driver coilover, Ohlins (the euro brand) is about to release their coils for our cars. well worth the supposed $3400 price of admission. had them on my S2k and they were phenomenal. both on and off the track.

Why not share here for others to know the benefits of the KWs. We also sell and use KWs and have used them as our base coilovers for years.

I installed them on my BRZ about a month ago (bought them from Sam). Its a very easy DIY option. I am not racing with these, I just like to tinker with the car and drive the canyons. That said I like the ride they give around town.

I'm interested in these but I can't push myself to spend 1700 on coils

gmookher: Thanks for the pretty detailed POV on the two products. Seems like you did your homework when you chose your coilover.

I am REALLY leaning towards the Eibach Multip Pro R1 coilovers (monotube design, external resevoir on more expensive models, Researched, Designed, and Manufactured in the US, more affordable than either the GC or the KWs) Any thoughts on those?
