You can cause the same controversy here by saying Belfast is part of Eire. We are the Canada of Ireland. Although the local extremists seem to align; North with Israel and South with Palestine. But extremists never score high on intelligence, do they?

Hell, even Norway was German occupied. England couldn't take the fight away from England. And the USA did tie up Germany which did aid Russua. Russia did well in Rusesa, but it would have been a different story else where. And they did occupy many Eastern European countries that Germany had easily defeated before Russia got there. The United States' manpower, manufacturing, resources beat the Nazis. Maybe you shouldn't believe your anti American text books after all. And if it wasn't for a little skirmish in the late 1700s where we took the English language, not borrowed it, Canada would sill belong to her majesty the queen if England. By the way, you and the rest of the world are quite welcome for the countless freedoms you enjoy- complements if the U S of A!

Trust me US textbook is biased, being born at Asia & growing up in Taiwan, Canada, US through the school years have taught me that there is more then 1 version of the history. The most unbiased history is probably Japan. Cuz they don't fukn teach anything between 1915 to 1945 lol! They all know what happened after war & how they started it, but beyond that almost NOTHING!!!

If they do teach everything on what happened exactly we probably end up having terrorist from Japan today.....

Thanks god for their U.S. influence & governed textbook back then. Imaging some country drop nuke on us & yet they are still ur favorite country after that within 25 years. MIND BLOWN.

While the Brits are very resourceful and intelligent, WWII would have turned out quite differently had we not been there. Russia was not in the Europe conquering game at that moment as they had taken their share of WWII lumps too, Russian may eventually have been spoken. A certain presence in post war Germany also insured that was not the case too. Nice try though!
It was the combination of Lend-Lease, D-Day, Battle of Britain, air superiority by the Allies and the stupidity of Hitler for opening a second front against the Soviet Union that led to the ultimate defeat of the 3rd Reich. There is no doubt that the Russian army put more pressure on the Germans than did the Allies, but it was the two-front war that ultimately did in Hitler. However, that was not the end of WWII. That took place in Japan. The two atomic bombs obviously were crucial to changing the mindset of the Japanese, but so was Russia's entry into the war against Japan. The Emperor realized that Japan could not bear up against that much opposition. (Note that the warlords still wanted to fight on.) Good thing, too, or we would not have the 86 cars today.

A team effort, guys.
