I've been having a very happy experience buying my exhaust from @Redline360, so I recommend you check out their excellent summary article on a variety of BRZ/FRS exhausts.
Since it was written in 2012, the article doesn't list ALL of the available exhausts, but it does break down what you get for MANY of the available exhaust types: Subaru BRZ Exhaust and Scion FR-S Exhaust – Which is the best |

Just buy the most expensive one you can find. Most expensive is always best, or st least that's what I have been told...

I recommend dropping the exhaust and just let it dump out of the header.

The PERRIN catback is very popular. I like the sound of the ARK catbacks as well. But I have no experience with any exhausts, haven't bought one yet.

The headers on this car are too restrictive. It's best to just remove the headers and let the exhaust flow directly out of the ports. Give it some time and the ECU will relearn and smooth out the torque dip. It'll be a bit loud (which is why most people don't do it) but trust me you'll get the most gains. My buddy removed his headers and it's crazy fast now.

Yep, sure did.... It's been on my FR-S for about a year now.
I don't have any other modifications to the exhaust system (nor plan to) so, I got the 2.5" piping with the 5" mufflers. It's well made, easy to install and sounds good to my ears. [ame]http://youtu.be/WX0XJIJQ4xs[/ame] Very little to no drone heard inside the car ..... it gives that "I'm here" sound but NOT the "look at me" sound on the outside. humfrz |
