Black TRD(or replica) Trunk Spoiler On Silver 86?

I have a 2017 silver(G1U) 86 and I'm looking to swap the OEM spoiler for either a TRD or a replica. BUT I'm considering getting a black(D4S) painted spoiler to match my mirror covers of same color. Will this look OK? Or should I stick with same silver color on the spoiler?....

I realize it's a different spoiler, but the black mirror/spoiler look on the 860 Special Edition works for me. I say go for it!

As long as you stick to basically the same colour and finish on any highlighted parts it will look fine. Only looks goofy when you start mixing and matching colours. Totally subjective of course.

As long as it's your car I'd say go for it.

Regarding black on white (or just about any color but black for obvious reasons ), i'd think on extending those black fender garnishes with these. Or with cheaper vinyl wrap covering same area.

Just mindlessly browsing the forums at work 5 years after the fact...that BRZ is throwing me for a loop. Three TRD parts, two of the less 'desirable' parts (have both), and the TWS wheels in gold, mixed with STi parts. A combo I never thought I would see, but looks sweet!
