Bump.

Looking to order these wheels in SBC in the near future to have them come summer time.

Planning to lower my '17 BRZ on Eibach Pro Kits (dont want anything too low for our winters).

Read through this entire post and i'm thinking 245/40/18 all around.
I shouldn't have a problem with rubbing correct?
And in order to fix the poke I will just have to adjust the camber?

I think you will if you're planning on using camber to fix the poke. You will rub on the spring perch for sure in the front with the amount of camber you will need to get it flush with the fender.

Any other suggestions for alternatives? I can size down the tires if it makes my life easier.

Either coils or don't worry about the poke. With the one inch drop the eibach pro kit is going to give you, you'll need around -3 degrees of camber to tuck in the front... and I'm not sure how you're going to get that much unless you get camber plates + camber bolts or control arms.

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and am having a hard time deciding whether to buy 17x9 RPF1's or 18x9.5 for my brz. I love the way the 18's look but am worried they will affect acceleration enough that I will feel it. Need some advice, thanks guys

NA you will notice the weight difference in acceleration, or at least I did.

I didn't notice a massive difference in acceleration, but I did notice a lot more grip when accelerating

Keeping it NA. Not tracking it or anything like that but I still want to have fun, the car as it is doesn't have a lot of power as we know so the last thing I wanna do is slow it down even more. Such a tough decision.

Plenty of options out there for boosting acceleration performance. I'm staying NA myself. As with most things in life it's just a matter of money.

i really wish enkei made these in 18x8.5 and 18x9... 18x9.5 is too wide for my taste...

i am currently on TRD springs (1 inch drop) with -1.7F and -1.3R camber... reading the posts on this thread, it seems like i need -2 camber for it to not rub (prob going with 24/35/18 tires)?

Ok just to get a definitive answer lol 245/35 will clear on springs but are there certain tires to avoid that fit larger that cause rubbing? Im not worried about poke.

Tried out a set of 17x9 +45 rpf1s, and on full lock they hit the outer tie rod. No big suprise there its been documented a bunch here, however with the 18x9.5 +38 it really only gives an extra 1mm more inner clearance. I have heard of people with the 17x9 +45 rpf1s running 3mm spacers and still not having enough clearance from the tie rod, so was curious why or how the 18x9.5 +38 didnt have any issues? Just the extra inch in diameter somehow move the wheel further away? Does anyone here have tie rod rubbing issues?

Those RPF1's will not fit over the PP Brembos. At least an 8mm spacer and extended lugs would be required.
