Exactly! I was going to bring that up but you beat me to it. Every day that industry is shutdown has a major impact on how fast things will recover. Japan has survived earthquakes for all of recorded history but as an industrialized nation they can not survive being shut down long.

After two or three days, I begin to doubt my ability to drive my AT car anywhere near as fast as some 16-year old first-time MT owner. The lead in the swizzle stick helps remove all doubt that I am slower and gives me the strength to carry on. Ahh, the courage of heavy-metal poison.

I'm just lead dust in the wind. Or I have been at this for 40 years and can drive an lowly AT better than some dumbass teener who just learned how to grind the gears in an FR-S MT.

The lead confuses me so badly, but a few huffs of the TRD oiled air filter cleaner clears the mind.

Gratuitous video of Unknown Hinson.

I find it amazing that 3 huge earthquakes and the last count I heard, only 48 people have died (and 11 missing).

I love Japan...visited 4 times and though I do wish they didn't have earthquakes, it's part of what makes the country what it is, and their resilient attitude toward rebuilding after disaster strikes.
