Why use double sided tape? Why not just have the whole piece wrapped in CF so it looks factory rather than tacked on?

I'm interested, could you post a few more pics? Perhaps in some different lighting? Thanks.

Bump. Also looking for a single piece dash trim, doesn't have to be carbon fiber, but does need to be 1 piece.

it looks nice, but double sided tape? i'll pass.

What's with people taping up parts of this car? tape the dash, tape the spoiler, tape the mirror...

It might take some time because the shop is in japan.
You couldn't find a shop in SoCal that works with CF? I'm all for being cheap and out sourcing stuff to China (that's one reason why your county is in debt to them BTW) but for something so simple and delicate I would think the better option would be to stay local. Turn around time from Japan sucks as everything is either shipped on a boat or by plane for big bucks. If you were intending to turn this into a business you should have had the piece made locally and perfected to your needs THEN you send it off to China or some other Asian country to have it replicated for pennies on the dollar. Send back in bulk and profit.

I'd rather overylay the stock pieces with carbon; the double sided tape thing doesn't appeal to me. I dunno. I'd like to see two separate pieces like OEM, too.

Couldn't agree more, looks like the only route currently is to get it custom made from a CF shop

I would most definitely buy one. I like that it is one piece and not two. With two you have to worry whether to carbon weave will line up or not. It also cleans up the dash a little more by getting rid of the separation line of the factory dash panel.

If you are selling them, shoot me a message with price.
