New article claims turbo brz, bs? What do you think?

After some rumors appeared which said that a hot version of the Subaru BRZ will be produced in the nearby future, the car manufacturer has just announced that a turbocharged variant of the sports car will be manufactured. Subaru says that the turbocharged BRZ will be offered in two versions, an STI and a non STI, where the top of the line version is expected to develop a total output of 300 horsepower. What we don’t understand is why Subaru is trying to offer three versions of the BRZ within 100 horsepower, but then again, we’ll probably be left in the shadows with this question.
As a reminder, the 2013 Subaru BRZ has been officially presented at the 42nd edition of the Tokyo Motor Show, being designed as a joint project between Subaru and Toyota Motor Corporation. The 2013 Subaru BRZ is powered by a 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine which is identically tuned as the one found on the Toyota GT 86, developing a total output of 197 horsepower at 7.000 rpm and a peak torque of 151 lb-ft available at 6.600 rpm. Power is being sent through the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission with a short stroke shift level. An optional six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifts is also available."

^ haha perhaps. What I find most interesting about the article though is a turbo version brz and a turbo version brz STI. It is an awesome idea I think to have 3 models (NA, Turbo, Turbo STI) . Or maybe perhaps the BRZ turbo will be the standard BRZ and the NA will fade away? thoughts?

What are you talking about?

Anyway, I hope this is true. Non-STi here I come!

I haven't heard of inautonews. They aren't citing any sources. I'll believe it when a more reputable source publishes it.

On these here interwebs, it's a common replacement for the word "source". In other words [citation needed].

Word to the wise. When you say sauce in this context to non-computer people (I am a professional programmer so I often forget they exist) in person you the the STRANGEST looks.
