honestly, they treat us as associates the same or worse. it's a sad day when you recommend people stay away from the company paying your bills.

I'm really sorry they are stringing you along

Last night was a happy night! Today I woke up like there was no wrong in the world. I know I don't get too personal, but getting out like that for me is therapudic. These west side meets keep me contained.

Wish I could have gotten out there! Good company and young women in skimpy outfits make me happy, too.

The reason why I didn't make it out there is the same reason why I might not make the east side meet tonight; my parents surprised me with a visit down here for the week. I still want to show off my exhaust so bad!

Safelite replaced the windshield on my Landcruiser, once. It leaked during every rain storm after that.

If it does, then USAA will be getting an earful from me.

Every time I spoke to Geico they agreed I have a lifetime warranty and the dealer was more than qualified to diagnose the issue (aka all the glass they left in my door that was supposed to fall out getting caught and causing a ton of little dents pushing outward in my passenger door) yet Safelite kept claiming that because the Dealer opened the door up to diagnose the issue they caused the damage and the warranty was void.
They also tried telling me the warranty only covered me for 30 days, Geico put an end to that really quick.

I have to say this has left me quite upset with there warranty practice's, the employee's seem nice enough but they also didn't seem to be to confident on how to remove my door glass the first time. They left tool marks on the door panel and it took two techs coming out to my work to figure out how to remove the mounts for the door glass. They blamed it on it being a new model.

Either way just food for thought, this has been a long ordeal and the Dealer gave me a lot of paperwork providing proof that Safelite caused the damage. Saying the Dealer was not qualified to diagnose the issue really pissed me off when they attempted to pull that one.

I'm getting my 2nd windshield installed tomorrow. My mirror fell off of my replacement glass. It's the piece that is attached by the glass distributer. They can't glue the factory mirror back on. The glass company glued an aftermarket mirror yesterday. It was the cheapest POS mirror I've ever seen. Pissed me off so much, I unfortunately out of rage grabbed it and yanked it off the glass. That glue they used was good stuff. I actually pulled layers of glass off with the mirror and it cracked further. lol. New one going in again tomorrow morning. I hope my mirror doesn't fall off again.

Need some help or advise

A friend of mine has a VW Cabrolet. It may be a 2006-9. For sure it's one of the new Beetle convertibles. It needs to have the rear window regulators changed out. They offered me $100 per side but I have too many of my own projects right now. They are looking for someone that is capable and would be interested.
If $200 isn't enough, PM me and tell me how much you would do it for.

We are in the far East Mesa side.

Here is a how to video I found on Youtube.

re: the tongs in a bottle challenge

Easy to do with a coat hanger.. with a lasso shaped loop you reach in and grab the hinge side.

It took less than 10 seconds with my hands steadied by Negra Modelo.
