The longer you wait, the bigger and deeper it will get. If you don't get all of the corrosion, it will continue to spread underneath the paint.


Just don't wait for a year or so.

That looks like surface corrosion to me... should be covered under your 36 month warranty. Doesn't hurt to try!

Well I think the fact it appears to be with tape and glued with a glue gun sort of makes the switch the least of the worries
