Weird Burning Smell?

When I drive my car hard-ish or more aggressively, as I exit the vehicle I smell this slight scent of burning rubbery smell. Is this normal?

Might be an oil leak from the cylinder head plate on the passenger side that has been experienced by quite a few of us. That head plate is right above the exhaust overpipe, so it gets cooked and vaporized when your exhaust is hot.

Is your car new? If so this is normal since its just burning off the oil that was put on it as it was shipped here and what not..

What's the chances that "burning rubbery" smell is your tires? I get a little extra smells when I push any car hard, but the noticeable one is the tires.

Yeah this is probably it, I just got the car not too long ago and never really drive it hard until recently.

First ~1000 miles I had a burning smell after driving, went away but sometimes I get a harsh odor in the cabin.

Manual transmission? Burnt rubber and burnt clutch can often smell rather similar.

If go all in drive it real hard, i get a burning plastic kind of smell. But it goes away after a while of "slow" driving again.

when the car is still new, you will smell the new exhaust, extra sealent burning in, more so when the engine gets a hot temperature for the first few times
