You could still easily do a trunk with how sloped the rear window is, and with the wing on there. it just depends on what kind of hinge you use to open up the trunk.

I LOVE the rear now. It's not ugly anymore, but the front end doesn't have the same "hooded cobra look" anymore. HATE that. The rims/ tires look smallish. Hope they don't lev that front end on the finished product. The original camo mule carried the original "face" that everyone has loved from the beginning. Drop that, lose the mojo. Not sure what they were thinking on that one...

as for the rear, now you can see the scalloped area where the license plate is attached. looks MUCH better without the camo. and that "diffuser"! the rear looks great! |

In comparision, look how longer the trunk lid is on the STI compared to the FR-S and as Suprachica mentioned, the slope of the rear glass compared to the STI. Quote:
I dunno man, I still respectfully disagree but then again, I won't fully believe it until I see it (the final production). Seeing the inner part of the taillights cutting into the trunk is another reason why I believe that rear isn't even functional. If it was a trunk, there is no way it could even open w/out scrapping the taillights. Unless it comes out toward you, they opens up!?!

^I was looking at the rear trunk more detail and I don't think, it gonna hit the tail-lights. There's a bit of space between the lights and trunk.

That's what I was thinking was going on. This kind of set up would be much easier to accomplish with a trunk vs. a hatch due to hinge placement.

Is it just the camera lens, or does that thing have a big nose? Front overhang from the side view looks HUGE while rear overhang is small. I hope it's a little fish eyeing and/or the camo bc I ain't feeling the side view at all.
