I dont think the donut gasket fit the new pipe, I used the supplied gasket on the overpipe to frontpipe connection and the new bolts also supplied instead of the spring.

I have the same catless resonated pipe from invidia and on the rear end of it the pipe extends past the flange, the donut gasket from the OEM pipe will fit on it and you can reuse the spring bolts with low torque since the springs are very strong. The midpipe portion of the cat back has a slight widening near the flange to accept the donut gasket and seal.

Installed the catless frontpipe over the weekend and the change was noticeable for me. Sounds less restricted, more raw. Can't help but to step on the accelerator more and shift higher.

Mated with my Invidia N1.

No, that only occurs once you replace the Header.
